AI WhatsApp Automation Malaysia

Explore ADSM AI WhatsApp automation for Malaysian SMEs: answer enquiries, qualify requirements and hand conversations to staff with useful context.

A quicker reply helps, but a useful reply matters more. Structure your assistant around the questions customers ask, the details your salesperson needs and the point where a person should take over.

A CLEAR ENQUIRY WORKFLOW

From first message to a prepared handover.

Start with one sales or service enquiry flow. The illustrations below explain the workflow; they are not customer results or a guarantee that every enquiry will convert.

01

Answer, clarify and qualify

Use an approved knowledge base for common product, service and process questions. Ask for the requirement, service location, quantity or buying timeline as appropriate. Record unanswered questions instead of inventing an answer or making an unsupported promise.

02

Keep people in the conversation

Give staff the enquiry details and conversation context so the customer does not need to start again. Escalate complaints, unusual requests and uncertain answers. An optional CRM connection can organise later follow-up, but a CRM migration is not required to start.

JOHOR BAHRU & MALAYSIAN SMEs

Capture the details that determine the next step.

Suppliers and distributors: ask which product or application the buyer is considering, the approximate quantity and delivery location. Send specifications, compatibility questions and negotiated prices to the sales team.

Commercial services: collect the site area, work required and preferred contact time before a person arranges a survey or quotation. A preferred time is not a confirmed booking.

Singapore–Johor enquiries: identify the service country and responsible team early. Clarify currency, coverage and fulfilment terms instead of applying a Singapore package automatically to a Malaysian enquiry.

These are examples to adapt to your business, not claims of completed client projects. ADSM Tech Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore company and a sister company of ADSMunch. Our founder works between Singapore and Johor Bahru, and our teams in Selangor and Johor Bahru support the same core service offering as Singapore.

STANDALONE OR ADD-ON

Choose the part of the sales process you need.

WhatsApp on its own: suitable when your priority is handling incoming enquiries, asking consistent qualification questions and preparing staff follow-up.

Alongside AI cold calling: a useful add-on for interested prospects who agree to continue on WhatsApp. The call establishes initial fit; messaging collects further details and supports the next conversation. Explore AI cold calling Malaysia.

Optional extensions: public-company lead discovery and AI CRM can support the wider sales process when separately agreed. Public contact information is not permission to send unsolicited WhatsApp messages.

Keep the first setup focused on approved questions, qualification fields and staff takeover. Custom ERP connections, live inventory, payment processing and automated quotations need separate scoping.

PERMISSION & CUSTOMER CONTROL

Automate replies without turning them into spam.

WhatsApp requires recipient permission for subsequent business contact and respect for opt-outs. On the Business Platform, business-initiated conversations and replies outside the 24-hour customer-service window require approved templates. Automation must offer a clear route to a person. Read the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.

Record what the customer agreed to receive. An expression of interest during a call is not blanket permission for unlimited messages. Review the approved platform, templates and provider requirements before launch.

For Malaysia, also review personal-data notices, access, retention and any overseas processing. JPDP describes rights to withdraw consent and prevent direct-marketing processing. Read JPDP guidance. Obtain appropriate advice for your particular workflow.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU START

Plan a practical first step.

Can WhatsApp automation work without AI calling?

Yes. A standalone setup can focus on enquiries that arrive through WhatsApp. AI cold calling is a separate option when the business also needs an approved outbound qualification workflow.

Will the AI confirm prices or appointments?

It should only explain approved pricing and availability rules. Firm quotations, discounts, technical recommendations and bookings need the agreed approval process or a verified connection; they are not assumed in a basic reply setup.

Can it support multiple languages?

Yes. Multilingual setups are available case by case, with setup costs depending on the language requirements. We test approved answers, mixed-language messages and staff handover against the languages your customers use. Confirm the required languages and scope during onboarding.

What affects the monthly cost?

Knowledge preparation, the number of enquiry flows, message volume, support and any connections affect scope. Ask for an itemised Malaysia quotation showing setup, recurring service, usage limits and applicable Meta or provider fees. AI WhatsApp is separately scoped from the AI cold-calling plan.

Start with the enquiries you already receive.

Bring a few non-sensitive examples of customer questions. We can discuss a focused demonstration, the knowledge needed and the right handover to your team.
